Wealthy businessman Ja-Ja Korda (Benicio Del Toro) names his nun’s daughter Liesel (Mia Thrapleton) the heir to his business empire. Korda embarks on an ambitious project that attracts the attention of Bjorn (Michael Cera), a cunning rival, and Nevo (Willem Dafoe), a mysterious spy. Thrown from a life of cloistered life into the world of business, Liesel faces threats. Korda’s assistant (Truman Hanks) and pilot (Steve Park) remain loyal to her. A field reporter (Scott Shepard) and a prophet (F. Murray Abraham), a seer, provide clues to the conspiracy.Grandmother (Carmen-Maya Antoni) and young Anatole (Mattia Moreno Leonidas) motivate Liesel. Nurses (Alexandra Wysochanska, Dewnam Kohestani, Tully Wolf, Jenny Behnke, Louisa Esteman) appear at the hospital. The Boss (Donald Sumpter) and Excalibur (Rupert Friend), a professional assassin, threaten Korda. A bureaucrat (Yekta Arman) is involved in corruption. Korda and Liesel confront foreign terrorists and domestic conspirators. Liesel must use her faith and courage to save her father and the empire. The story ends with a climax of action and a message about trust.
